Our Team — Sinodialect
Our Team

Chosen for judgment, not just language.

Behind every meeting we support is a team of interpreters chosen not just for their language skills, but for their judgment, professionalism, and discretion.

Our interpreters

Fluent professionals with real experience in business settings — not just language training, but time spent in boardrooms, factories, and negotiations where precision and composure matter.

Language mastery

Native or near-native fluency in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to shift fluidly between literal translation and natural interpretation depending on what the moment requires.

Business fluency

Comfort with commercial, technical, and legal vocabulary across a wide range of industries — from hydrogen equipment to maritime shipping.

Composure under pressure

The ability to keep pace with fast-moving negotiations without losing accuracy, even in high-intensity, multi-tasking settings.

Discretion

A track record of holding sensitive information in strict confidence. Every interpreter on our team understands that they are representing you in the room.

Where We Work

Across every major Chinese business hub.

Our interpreters are based across major Chinese business hubs, with experience supporting meetings, factory visits, and negotiations in all major cities as well as other locations upon request.

A Note from the Founder's Desk

Liu Ying, Founder & Translator

"

I'm Liu Ying (刘莹), a freelance translator and interpreter, and I've built this practice around a simple belief: when you're in a meeting on unfamiliar ground, your interpreter should be someone you trust completely — with your words, and with everything said around them.

Over the years, I've provided business escort and consecutive interpretation across an unusually wide range of industries — from chemical, pharmaceutical, and aerospace manufacturing to new energy and hydrogen equipment, agriculture, finance, law, healthcare, culture and tourism, and more. I've worked factory floors, audits, exhibitions, and high-stakes negotiations, handled whispered simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, and translated well over three million words in writing. I'm also comfortable working with Middle Eastern, Indian, and African English accents, which matters more than people often expect in international meetings.

I've had the privilege of interpreting for dignitaries, ambassadors, military leaders, university professors, and business leaders from across the world — experiences that taught me just how much precision and composure matter when the stakes are high and the room is full of people who don't share a first language.

That experience is what shapes how our team works today: moving fluidly between exact, word-for-word translation and natural interpretation depending on what the moment calls for, and never losing sight of what's actually being communicated — or who it belongs to.

Confidentiality has always been at the centre of how I operate, and I turned it into the bedrock of Sinodialect. What's discussed in a meeting is sensitive by nature — pricing, strategy, terms, relationships — and I treat that information with complete discretion, before, during, and after every engagement.

Business across cultures is built on more than words. It's built on trust, patience, and the small human moments that happen alongside the formal ones — the shared meal, the unexpected conversation, the connection that outlasts the deal itself. I see my role as protecting that trust while helping it grow, and now the same is followed by my team.

Thank you for considering us for your next meeting in China. I don't take that trust lightly — and neither do our translators.
